I have to admit that, before our experience in class, I’ve never heard about feeds and feeds aggregator and I’ve never entered a site like Bloglines. Now I can say you that I found them interesting and useful tools that help us to keep under control if there are any changes in web sites or blogs of our interest ( for example, one can see if there are new information posted). Instead of going in the blog of each person in our group, using the URL or the link, one can simply go on Bloglines to see any changes; I found it a good and quick solution to keep us up to date! In general I don’t visit many websites: I check my email or I go on the site of the University, if I’m searching for information I use Google, and that’s all…

So I think that for this kind of –let’s call it “domestic”- use having a feed aggregator isn’t so important, but I think that for our work in class or for people who often visit a big number of web sites, installing on computer -or subscribe to- an aggregator that signals if there are news on the websites or blogs is really useful.

I agree with you when you say that feeds are very useful to bring us up to date!With Bloglines, it's more rapid to consult our blogs, because we can create playlists, in order to organize our work. As I wrote in my blog, at the beginning I didn't know what to do with Bloglines....but then, when I understood what it was,everything was clearer and I could find the advantages of it!!

Feeds aggregator it's something new to me too! And now that I know what it is, I can say that it is a very useful tool! I mean, thanks to bloglines we can keep all our blogs and web sites under control! It took me some time to understand how it works, but finally I got it!! Once you subscribe to the sites and blogs, you don't have to worry anymore: bloglines will collect all the news for you! In this way it is very simple to keep updated! Waw!

The interesting thing about acquisitions of this kind is that is essential because we are living in the Web Time. Bloglines enhances our technology knowledge. We are always spending more and more time in front our pc and web world is becoming ever more important in our every day life…but sometimes it might be a waste of time if we don’t use it in a properly and effective way. In fact, I used to waste a lot of time checking for news on my favorite web sites or friends’ blogs. Thanks to Bloglines, things are changed….in few seconds I have web world in hand….

I apologize for being late with my comments. You know, we always talk about Internet as an essential tool in our everyday life ut I realize how essential it is only when it doesn't work in my house. It's what happened this week and I really got lost.
I decided to post a single comment to all your posts because I saw that we all agree on the importance Bloglines has and on the advantages it brings to us.
I especially remember how Cristina defined it, "a kind of secretary". That's right,here, instead of having a person who can follow and tide up our works we have the Bloglines with its feeds, aggregators, playlists,etc. which do all this for us and help us to keep everything under control.
I agree with Elisa when she is saying that knowledge of this kind is essential in our era of technology and Web. However, in this huge world of the Web where you can find whatever you want but, at the same time, you may easily get lost it is fundamental to get updated on the new technological tools which can avoid wasting time.
